A UNIQUE play about the lives of actresses in the 17th century is coming to Colwall.
The play, Playhouse Creatures, will be at the venue for performances at 7.30pm each evening from May 29-31 at Colwall Village Hall, with tickets at £13.
Set in 1669, the play takes a look at the turbulent times right after theatres reopened following a 17-year closure.
The play features five famous figures, including Nell Gwynn, highlighting the lives of actresses during the Restoration period.
The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over, with reduced rates for under-19s.
