REVISED plans to build two semi-detached houses and an eco-cabin in the garden of a Malvern home have been put forward.
A similar scheme for 8 Somers Road was rejected by district planners in April after concerns were raised that the two proposed houses would “fail to respect the character of the locality”.
District planners were also worried the homes would overlook neighbouring properties.

New plans submitted to Malvern Hills District Council say: “The applicants have addressed the issues raised and the proposals have been comprehensively redesigned in response to the case officer’s report and reasons for refusal.”
Designs show the overall width of the two homes has been reduced in the new proposals, while the location for one of the properties has been further back from Albert Park Road.
