WOULD-be thieves drove away at high speed away from a Malvern business and hit another car while shouting after staff became suspicious.
Staff and shoppers at Handyman House in Malvern had noticed three people acting suspiciously in the store on Spring Lane.
Claire Lawson, owner of the business, said the group had turned aggressive after being approached and then drove off at 'high speed' while hitting another car on their exit.
The group was allegedly shouting as they left the premises.
Ms Lawson added: "Do you recognise any of these three?
"Be vigilant. These three are doing the rounds - they targeted us today and B&Q.
"They work quickly and spread themselves out in the store so be on high alert."
According to staff, two men and a woman had scattered around the store, making it obvious they were looking for something to steal.
A member of the public then alerted staff after noticing loads of items like padlocks in the car, which raised the alarm that the Handyman House could be a potential target.
The incident took place at 3pm yesterday (Thursday).
The Handyman House also had a break-in at its other store on Monnow Street in Monmouth the night before.
The owner said that thefts are a problem and the business wanted to share the appeal to make everyone in the area aware that there could be people doing the rounds.
