SHOPS in Malvern were tested to see if they would sell products to underaged teenagers.

A West Mercia volunteer pretended to buy over 18 products in stores across the town to see if they could purchase the items.

Only two out of five shops had sold the 18-plus products to the underage volunteer.

A spokesperson for Malvern SNT said: "Those who failed the test purchasing were given advice and will be dealt with accordingly with possible prosecutions or further action.

"There will also be further test purchasing in the future to ensure shops are adhering to the law."
