THE Prince of Wales has shared his daughter's favourite joke with pupils at a West Midlands school.

Prince William was asked by pupils to record a dad joke during a visit to St Michael's CE High School today.

He was there to see how pupils at the school tackle mental health challenges after being invited, via a letter on X, by pupil Freddie Hadley.

The pupils told Prince William how they told 'dad jokes' to break up the more serious segments on their radio show Black Country Xtra.

The pupils teased the Prince about being a Villa fan before asking him if he could contribute to the 'dad joke' segment of the radio show.

The Prince said he would try and channel his inner Jack Whitehall before saying: "What I'm going to do is say a joke that is Charlotte's favourite joke at the moment that she keeps telling me.

"You are going to need to interact with me."

Here's the royal joke:

Prince William: "Knock, knock"

Pupils: "Who's there?

Prince William: "Interrupting cow.

Pupils."Interrupting co...

Prince William: "Mooooooo."

To laughter, he added: "That's one I hear a lot.

"That's the greatest one I can think about that's clean and broadcastable."

The children then shared their jokes with the Prince and asked for his royal approval. He was told: "I think that segment will go down in our radio's history."
