Plans to build up to two homes on a brownfield site in Worcester have been given ‘in principle’ planning permission.
City planners have approved the plans for housing on a site called the Orchard Works, which is located between Ombersley Road and Northwick Road, and is accessed from Union Place.
There are nine small commercial units on the site including a vacant unit, one used for garage services and the rest used for storage.
City planners have granted permission in principle but before anything can be built, the applicants will need to return and apply for technical details consent, when more detailed proposals will be assessed.
