A POLICE patrol took place and warning signs have been put up after reports of antisocial behaviour in Malvern.

A foot patrol by a PCSO tool place in and around Pickersleigh and Chase focusing on the 'hotspot areas' on Saturday.

The police community support officer said on X (formerly Twitter): "After conducting reassurance visits to residents following reports that have been made of antisocial behaviour, I put some signage up to act as a potential deterrent.

"A hot spot is a small geographical area where crime occurs often, this involves officers and police community support officers increasing hi-visibility patrols to deter offenders committing crime.

"The aim is for potential offenders to feel that offending is more risky in these areas.

"Antisocial behaviour is defined as behaviours that have caused, or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person."

West Mercia Police urges people experiencing antisocial behaviour to report it via their website.
