CALLING Malvern darts players, your help is needed to have some fun and raise some money for charity.

The Foresters Arms in Barnards Green is taking part in the MacMillan Darts Challenge on Thursday, April 25 from 5pm.

The pub is run by David and Lee Insull-Griffiths who admit to being “terrible at darts” so they need help to raise money for the charity!

David and Lee took over ownership of the pub’s tenancy in February. It had previously been in the hands of a holding management company for some time.

David said: “As residents of Malvern, we were keen to find a local pub in the heart of the community and The Foresters Arms was the one.

“Our vision for the pub is to really embed it back in the heart of the community and create an inclusive environment for all, where there is something for everyone be it Live Music, Sports, Karaoke, Bingo or anything else!

“We are both also super keen to support local and national charities that are close to our hearts and the people within our communities’ hearts.

“On Thursday, April 25th we will be taking part in the MacMillan Darts Challenge, where we need to work our way down from 100,000 to zero (finishing on a double).

“It’s no secret David and Lee are terrible at darts so this is where we need the help of all avid darts players - rookies or experts to help us.

“We are asking that throwers donate an entry fee of £2 which will go directly to MacMillan on the night and Lee I will also be making a contribution for each thrower to MacMillan. “Snacks will be provided to fuel the throwers too.”
