THREE Malvern teachers are coming together to lead a yoga class in support of children affected by the war in Gaza.

Hilly Hannken, Alexandra Jones and Sian Gordon Moyo are collaborating on Wednesday, April 3 at Malvern Vale Community Centre to highlight the desperate plight and raise as much money as they can to support the cause.

The three teachers boast 45 years of experience between them and they are inviting the community to come together and enjoy the 90-minute class from 10am until 11.30am.

The teachers want to offer people a way to show their support for the children of Gaza with the session at the centre in Swinyard Road.

The trio said: “We want to provide a class, which is open to all, or people can donate via our JustGiving page.

"We hope to see you on the mat and look forward to welcoming you!”

Anyone interested in joining in is asked to email alexandra@meridianyoga.net to book their yoga class space.

So far more than £300 has been raised through the JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/page/peaceful-yoga-malvern.

It is for UNICEF's Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.

Hundreds of thousands of children are affected by the violent conflict in Gaza and Israel.

Supply routes into Gaza have been severely impacted with children and families running out of food, water, electricity and medicine.
