A WANTED man who tried to run has been arrested after he was spotted by a community support officer before police 'flooded' a street in Malvern.
The wanted man, described by police as a prolific offender, was spotted by police community support officer (PCSO) Kevin Tudge in Charles Way, Malvern today (Friday).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "While on cycle patrol in Charles Way today PCSO Kevin Tudge sighted a wanted male. Officers flooded the area, the male tried to evade officers, moments later the male was arrested and taken into custody. The male is a prolific offender and wanted for a number of thefts."
