"It's not been easy for us. We opened in 2020 just after the first lockdown and have survived lockdown, the fuel crisis, the energy crisis and now the cost of living crisis so far.

"We are only a small cafe and have turned the place around from a greasy spoon in a worn out wooden cladded porta cabin to a bright, warm and inviting cafe that uses local suppliers to cook both traditional and exciting dishes, plus weekly specials that fly out.

"People are still finding us three years later and 99 per cent of our customers come back resulting in a very loyal fan base and new customers every day after seeing our food on Facebook and from recommendations.

"We are in the process of building a covered outside space ourselves out of a Pergola which will also be heated with rugs, cushions and blankets and one of the trees we cut down will be made into a table. We also purchased items from the Pump House Cafe after it closed down to furnish it."

The opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9am until 3 pm with last orders 2.15pm.
