HERE are some of the businesses currently closed due to flooding. 

 

  • Cafe Viaduct by the River Severn, is closed. 

Writing on the Worcestershire Noticeboard on Facebook the owners said: "Unfortunately there is no access to the cafe today without waders or a boat so we aren’t able to open.

"We will be watching the water levels and if it safe to do so we’ll be back open again by the end of the week"

  • Hickory's, in Tybridge Street, is closed. Writing on social media the restaurant said: "We will be closed today. We're wishing everyone the best from Hickory's island."

 

  • Cob House Country Park and Mayfly Cafe, in Wichenford near Worcester. 

On Facebook the cafe owners wrote: "Thankfully the water has receded in our main car park but the grounds are pretty saturated.

"We're going to concentrate on the clear up ready to fully open tomorrow! Let's hope 2024 gets better."

  • The Confetti Office in Pershore is closed. 

The owners said: "The Confetti Office was supposed to open back up again today but the River Avon has burst its banks and roads are flooded and closed.

"So we can't get to work. Hopefully, waters will recede quickly, and we will be back in the office to get your orders sent out ASAP."

  • Monkee Business in Crowngate Shopping Centre has said it is closed today on social media.
  • Yeliz Blossom Room based at the former Old Rectifying House pub announced its closure on Tuesday.

Writing on social media the owners said: "We are extremely sad to announce that we temporarily closed due to the flooding. We will keep you updated and let you know when we will be re-opening."
