WORCESTER Cathedral was the spectacular destination for a group of intrigued Malvern students.

The Malvern St James Girls' School A-level religious studies pupils enjoyed their experience at the historic city church.

British theologian Peter Vardy,  the author or co-author of 18 books, delivered a lecture on topics that included conscience, natural law and the nature of god.

Meanwhile, MSJ sixth-form students spent a morning with sculptor Simon Probyn, cutting and welding steel to help create part of a sculpture which the artist is constructing for the school.
