GRIEVING FAMILY and friends have decorated a tree in memory of a 26-year-old man who was killed in a car crash.

They have created a festive memorial in tribute to Jobie Haynes who died after the white Volkswagon Golf he was in crashed into a tree on the B4082 between Upton Snodsbury and Pinvin on March 26 this year.

Twinkling fairy lights have been wrapped around the tree along with pictures, love signs, heart symbols, cards, ribbons, and Merry Christmas messages.

The group spent time creating the touching memorial on Saturday (December 2).

Among the tributes left then was a bottle of Captain Morgan rum, balloons and children's drawings.
