The play is based on the classic Hasbro board game often played during family gatherings and holidays, which will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2024.

The plot, which was penned by successful TV and stage writing duo Lawrence Marks and Maurice Gran, is set in the swinging 1960s, following the colourful characters as they try to dodge the murderer and live out the night.

The stage adaptation will premiere at Richmond Theatre on February 29, and will continue to perform in theatres across the UK until July, including a run at the Malvern Festival Theatre from April 30 until May 4.

Miss Flanagan shared her excitement about her upcoming role in the play.

"Cluedo 2 is going to be so much fun and I am thrilled to be working alongside such a great actor as Jason.

"I can’t wait to begin rehearsals in the New Year, and, of course, wear the famous red dress."
