A free roadshow will be coming to Welland Village Hall this weekend.

The Energy Roadshow, at Welland Village Hall, Marlbank Road at 10am on Saturday, November 25, will cover a variety of hot topics, including energy saving measures, accessing household funding, home security and fire safety.

With cold winter temperatures and long hours of darkness, many residents are worrying about rising energy costs.

Lynne Mole from Age UK said: "Malvern Hills and its rural villages is one of the worst areas for fuel poverty in the country.

"Our aim is to help people make their homes more energy efficient and ensure those most in need can get financial help.
