An estate agents has launched a children's Christmas card competition to win a cash prize to go towards their school library.

Worcestershire-based Nicol & Co has arranged the contest, in which children from the county will create their own Christmas card in the hopes of winning the top prize of £300, which would go towards the winner's school library.

To enter, children must visit the estate agent's offices in Droitwich, Malvern or Worcester, grab an entry form and design their card.

Alternatively, entries can be downloaded from the Nicol & Co website or via their social media accounts.

The deadline for submitting designs is at 11am on Friday, December 1.

The winner will be determined by the entry that attracts the most 'likes' and 'shares' on Nicol & Co’s Facebook page by Monday, December 4.

The victor will not only bag the £300 school library investment, but will also receive a £50 ‘Santa sack of goodies’ and 30 Christmas cards featuring their winning design.

Matt Nicol, managing director of Nicol & Co, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching our 2023 Christmas Card Competition, and can’t believe that this is now into its eighth year!

"We all enjoy seeing all the colourful designs sent in by children each year, but what we really love is that it’s the general public who then chooses the winner.

"The result is also a joy – seeing all the books that schools buy for their pupils’ education and enjoyment.

“And it’s lovely to know that Nicol & Co’s Community Fund has paid for several thousand pounds worth of school library books since 2015!”

Visit one of the company's offices at 226 Worcester Road, Droitwich, 61 Court Road, Malvern, or 46 Barbourne Road, Worcester for more details and the entry form.
