A 28-YEAR-old has admitted an offence of ABH in Worcester city centre.
Jomarey Quashi, of Beauchamp Road, Malvern, indicted a guilty plea during his appearance at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (November 7).
Quashi committed the assault against the victim, his former partner, on August 7 in The Hopmarket, The Foregate.

Tom Wickstead, prosecuting, said the assault had included grabbing the victim by the neck, pushing her to the floor and being hit in the face causing her to suffer a black eye.
But Quashi, who defended himself, told the court he was admitting punching the victim in the leg, but denied doing the other things the prosecution said.
A Newtown hearing - an administrative hearing to determine the facts of a case - was scheduled for January 11 next year.
Quashi was given conditional bail, which includes the condition not to contact the victim, and the defendant was warned to appear at the next hearing.
