THE following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court.
ROSS NELMES, of Cranham Drive, Worcester, admitted theft from a shop.
The 47-year-old stole meat, valued at £172.99, from Sainsburys on July 19.
Nelmes was ordered to pay £86.49 in compensation and fined £120.
He was also ordered to pay £135 costs.
STEVEN HENDERSON, who gave the court a care of address of Whittington Road, Worcester, admitted burglary.
The 40-year-old stole rucksack, car keys, van keys, bank cards and £1,000 in cash from a property in Teme Road on July 27.
Henderson's case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report. He was told to return to Worcester Magistrates Court for sentence on November 7.
Henderson was given unconditional bail.
JOHN REDDING, of Rose Avenue, Worcester, admitted theft.
The 63-year-old stole keys from another person on February 28.
Redding was told to pay £500 compensation and fined £80.
No order for costs or victim surcharge was made by the magistrates.
PATRICK HULBURD, of Charland Court, Droitwich, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
The 55-year-old committed the offence on August 26 - the day before his birthday - in Angel Street, police arresting him for disorderly behaviour.
The court heard Hulburd used abusive language towards police.
Hulburd was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
He was also ordered to pay £50 costs, £26 victim surcharge.
TOBY HUGHES, of Elgar Avenue, Malvern, admitted drink driving.
The 26-year-old was caught in Spring Lane, Malvern, on September 16. The evidential specimen he gave showed he had 50mcg in 100ml - the legal limit being 35mcg.
Hughes was disqualified from driving for 14 months.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £135, £48 victim surcharge.
DAVID FOXALL, of Loughmill Road, Pershore, admitted causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving.
The 62-year-old committed the offence on February 21 in Pershore. Magistrates heard he drove a BMW on Worcester Road, Pershore, without due care and attention.
Foxall's case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
The defendant was told to attend his sentence hearing which was scheduled for November 14.
Foxall was given unconditional bail.
