DRIVERS had a lucky escape after a crash involving a car and a tractor closed a road last night as the emergency services rushed to the scene.

Both the fire service and the police attended the scene of the crash in Worcester Road, Malvern at around 7.45pm last night. There were no casualties, the fire service has confirmed. 

 

 

A spokesperson for the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said a crew from Worcester Fire Station attended 'to make vehicles safe after a road traffic collision in Worcester Road, Malvern'.

He added: "The incident involved a saloon car and a tractor. The crew made the car safe. Police also attended and the carriageway was blocked at North Malvern Road and Moorlands Road. There were no casualties. The incident was marked as pending closure at 8.22pm."
