A HAWKER Hurricane RAF plane is set to fly over a county event this weekend.
The Help for Heroes Malvern Hills Challenge will be treated to an appearance from the historic plane on Saturday, September 16.
At approximately 1.40pm, the plane will make an appearance over the scenic hills.
According to the RAF, the plane played a vital role in the Battle of Britain and there are only 12 airworthy Hurricanes left in the world.

The event is held in aid of Help for Heroes and offers two routes, an 18 km Long Walk or a 9km Short Walk.
All entrants have the opportunity to follow a marked route across the hills at their own pace in aid of wounded and injured service personnel and their families.
