POLICE closed a road where multiple gunshots were heard a second time today (Wednesday).

Officers said the closure was linked to last night's incident.

Multiple people called police saying that had heard gunshots being fired in Blackpole Road, Worcester, at 9.05pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, August 29).

A section of Blackpole Road was closed again this afternoon as officers continued their search.

An officer at the scene confirmed the road had been closed for a portion of the day so that another thorough check of the area could be performed with the assistance of a police dog.

The road is now reopened to all traffic.
