A SHOWROOM expansion and rebrand are on the cards for a long-running Malvern business.

Malvern Glass, which was founded in 1979, is set to have a rebrand after Advance Joinery Group acquired the business.

As part of the acquisition, Advance Joinery Group said it hopes to increase the range of products on show and expand the Malvern Glass showroom.

"We are delighted to welcome Malvern Glass to the Advance Joinery Group," said managing director Andrew Buchanan.

"Both companies share a commitment to providing high-quality products and service, and we believe this acquisition will enable us to offer an even broader range of products to a wider customer base."

Malvern Glass has been a staple in the town for 44 years and the Advance Joinery Group said it hopes to build on its already excellent reputation.

While a lot will stay the same, Advance aims to replicate what it knows works well for its two other branches in Hereford and Kingsbridge, Devon.

Jack Evans, operations director at Advance Joinery Group, added: "The diversity of our offer and our customer base is what's made us unique here at Advance.

"We encourage customers to drop in when passing to understand more about our expanded range of products."

Advance Joinery Group is a supplier and installer of timber, aluminium, uPVC products, doors and windows across the West Midlands.

The acquisition of Malvern Glass, based at Malvern Business Centre, Betony Road, will allow the company to expand its footprint locally, representing a significant step in its growth plans, Advance Joinery Group said.

Customers of Advance, both domestic and trade, can view the range of products either at the Pontrilas head office or through its retail showrooms in Hereford, Kingsbridge and soon-to-be Malvern following its relaunch.
