A Ledbury teenager is set to play one of the region’s biggest festivals.
Singer-songwriter Angelina Gill will be performing a full set of a original songs at Lakefest.
It will be a return to the festival for the talented 17-year-old, who won Lakefest’s Junior Talent competition last year.
She will be joined on set by her new band, The Fandangos.
Angelina is a regular at Ledbury’s The Barn venue, where she can be seen showcasing her latest compositions on the piano, and Angelina & The Fandangos have played a number of live music venues in Hereford, including The Loft and The Left Bank.
“It is such a fantastic opportunity to be able to perform my songs at Lakefest this year,” said Angelina.

“My songs are about love, life and misadventure, but this live gig will be all about energy, entertainment and having fun.”
Angelina & The Fandangos will be playing at 2pm on Saturday, August 12 in the Amped! tent, a new venue set up this year to showcase up and coming artists from across the UK.
Angelina won’t be the only Ledbury artist performing at the Eastnor Castle-based festival this year.
Bastie, another singer-songwriter from the town, will be opening the main stage on August 12.
The former BBC Introducing Artist of the Week, whose real name is Sebastian Ingram, said he can’t wait to play the festival.
Headliners for Lakefest 2023 include Johnny Marr, Gaz Coombes, Clean Bandit, Embrace and McFly.
Also playing the festival this year are The Zutons, Judge Jules, Fabio Grooverider, Faithless, The Hoosiers, The Wurzels, Inspiral Carpets and more.
Away from the big music stages, festival-goers can enjoy films, comedy, late-night cabaret, burlesque and more at the Cheshire Cat Club, live music until the early hours in the Brethryn Cocktail Bar or can choose to unwind in the Willow Gardens.
There are also arts and crafts activities for all ages with Spare Room Arts, a gaming zone, an international BMX Dirt Jumping competition, a funfair and more.
