TWO recent additions to Malvern's bar scene are in the running for a prestigious award.
The finalists of the Muddy Stilettos Awards for Gloucestershire and Worcestershire have been revealed.
There is a wide range of prizes up for grabs, including the title of the region’s best bar.
Representing Malvern in this category is Bar Limon and The Water Cure, both on Church Street.
Lucy Dunlop, owner of Bar Limon, said: “We’re thrilled to make it to the final of the Muddy Awards for Best Bar in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire and happy to see our friends from The Water Cure are also in the running.
“Great news for Malvern that two recent additions to the high street are making such a big impression.
“We love being part of thriving independent scene in Malvern.
“Big Up Malvern Independents.”

Also competing for the best bar award are three bars from Cheltenham – Gin & Juice, The Urban Fox and Imperial Haus.
Voting opened earlier this month and the live results section of the Muddy Stilettos website shows Bar Limon and The Water Cure are leading the race, with 23.37 and 29.5 per cent of the vote respectively.
Lottie Clarke, bar manager at The Water Cure, added: “We are very pleased and proud to have made it to the finals, and it is great to be up there with some other fantastic bars as well as our neighbours Bar Limon.
“Good luck to all the Malvern businesses that have made it this far.”

There are 27 categories in the Muddy Stilettos Awards, including prizes for the best hotels, restaurants, and cafes.

Of the 135 finalists in the region, 25 come from Worcestershire.
Among them are several other Malvern businesses.
Abbey Road Coffee and Faun will be looking to secure the title of best café, while Malvern Spa is up for the Day Spa award.
The Cottage in the Wood is in the running for the hotel prize, and Dearest Love is hoping to be named the best Wedding Photographer in the region.
You can vote for your favourite Malvern businesses on the Muddy Stilettos website until midnight on Sunday, June 4.
