Bargain hunters are set to descend on Malvern as the town plays host to the largest fair of its kind in the UK.

The Malvern Flea & Collectors Fair returns to the Three Counties Showground this Bank Holiday Monday (May 29).

“With its extensive offering of second-hand goods and the stunning backdrop of the Malvern Hills, the Malvern Flea is said to have its own kind of magic,” said Helen Yourston, director of fair organisers B2B Events.

“Buyers can expect antiques, vintage, retro, salvage, house clearance, upcycled creations and so much more. It really is a treasure trove for the second-hand enthusiast.”

Opening bright and early at 7.30am, Helen encourages as many early birds to attend as possible.

“To really get your pick of all the weird and wonderful that the Malvern Flea has to offer, make it an early start,” she said.

“You’ll be lucky enough to see first-hand the full extent of the ‘Malvern magic’ - and get first dibs on what to buy.”

Whatever buyers seek, the event will have them covered. Furniture, textiles, jewellery, toys, books, vinyl, art, clothes and accessories can all be found at the fair.

“Not forgetting of course,” Helen added, “all the items they didn’t expect to see.

“In previous fairs we’ve had aeroplane jet engines, fairground rides - even a vardo (a horse-drawn Romany wagon).”

Admission is £5 per person and accompanied under 16s are free. The fair closes at 3.30pm.
