Three members of the Malvern Girls Brigade were awarded their gold Duke of Edinburgh Award at a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Tuppence Shaw-Young, Harriet Mobbs and Eleanor King all completed their gold award in 2020 - but due to the backlog of Covid - awardees were only able to attend on Friday, May 19.
The day was presided over by the new Duke of Edinburgh Prince Edward in his first DofE event since taking over.
There was a host of guest speakers, two Royal Marine Bands and access to the grounds.
The award scheme is run in more than 140 countries worldwide - with the gold being the final and toughest part of the programme.
The girls who are all now studying in Bath, Swansea and Switzerland said that they “felt a great sense of achievement” and that to come to the palace was a "great honour".
