District council staff have been litter picking near Malvern Retail Park.
The workers decided to clean up the memorial wood next to Goodson Road as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Biodiversity officer Alastair Pounder spoke to colleagues about the work being done to improve the area, which will be known as the Wood of Thanks and will include a memorial for those who lost their lives during the Covid pandemic.
Anyone in Malvern wanting to help keep the town today can ‘adopt’ a street, in return for the loan of litter picking equipment. More information is on the district council website.
