THE family of Charlotte Comer has paid tribute to the "deeply loved" 30-year-old ahead of a coroner's verdict.

Miss Comer, from Earls Croome, near Malvern, died in July 2021 and an inquest into her death has been taking place this week.

Her inquest has heard the 30-year-old had been suffering from Body Dysmorphic Disorder - where a person spends a lot of time worrying about their appearance - and struggled with eating disorders and self-harming.

Miss Comer’s sister, Mo Knight Evans, said they were hoping to get answers and "understand what happened to Charlotte" in the run-up to her death.

Her sister wrote: "Charlotte was deeply loved by everyone lucky enough to know her.

"We all miss her desperately, and our lives, while enriched for knowing her, will never be the same.”

Lawyer for the family, Rhiannon Davies, said: "As we await the conclusion of this week’s inquest it is hoped that out of this comes more awareness and greater understanding about the distress, despair, and feelings of hopelessness that Body Dysmorphic Disorder can cause."

The inquest has been taking place at Worcestershire Coroner's Court in Stourport and the county's senior coroner, David Reid, is set to deliver his verdict on Friday, (February 16).
