FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a restaurant which filled the building with smoke.

The fire was caused by a fire in a grill pan in the kitchen of the restaurant in Barnard's Green Road, Malvern, at 7.49pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Two Hereford and Worcester Fire Service crews, from Upton and Worcester, attended and used pressure ventilation to clear the heavy smoke logging in the restaurant.

A fire service spokesman said: "The building was checked using infrared cameras.

"There were no casualties."

The spokesman added they did not have a record of the restaurant where the fire took place at.
