A Malvern supermarket has made a donation to help maintain a town park.
Waitrose Great Malvern has presented a cheque for £500 to the Friends of Priory Park.
Charlotte Allen-Perks, the store’s community lead, presented the cheque to Jill Wytcherley from Friends of Priory Park to support the work of the volunteers in improving the area for the enjoyment of residents.
On behalf of the group, Jill was delighted to accept the donation to help with the cost of tools and planting projects.

She said: “Since the pandemic, Priory Park has become even more important for local people as a place to spend time and relax.
“It feels good to help keep it such a lovely and special environment for our beautiful town. Many thanks to Waitrose for recognising our work as volunteers in caring for our heritage green space.”
