A MAN has been charged with the theft of 45 televisions after recycling centres across Worcestershire were targeted.

Chigozie Edmunds, 31, of no fixed abode but previously of Chestnut Grange, Offenham, near Evesham has today been charged with 17 offences.

The alleged offences were carried out at recycling centres across Worcestershire say Worcester's Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Each theft was a separate offence between four recycling sites between February and June of this year.

Edmunds will appear at Worcester Magistrates Court at 3pm on September 1.

 

 

The alleged offences include the theft of 15 televisions from household recycling sites around Worcestershire.

He is accused of taking a minimum of three TVs on each occasion (at least 45 in total).

He has also been charged with driving without a licence and no insurance.
