A LONG-awaited mini golf venue in Worcester finally has finally confirmed its opening date.

Mr Mulligans, on Worcester's High Street, will be opening to the public on August 1, with tickets officially able to book live on the website from August 5.

The venue is in the final stages of preparing the interior, ready for the public to visit, with an original opening date teased for July.

The blue, black and white Mr Mulligans sign was recently put up outside the former DW Sports shop on the High Street.

The sports venue has proved a hit across its many locations - and also offers live music and a bar for older clients.

The venue will boast an adventure golf course, electro-darts, pool, ping pong and a shuffleboard - along with a bar and restaurant.

Mr Mulligans was handed a late-night alcohol licence by Worcester City Council earlier this year in March.

The new Mr Mulligans in Worcester, which will cater for families, students and adults, would add to the 12 locations already open across the country – including a spot in Birmingham.
