NEW photos showing the construction of a darts venue in Worcester have been shared.

The Dart Side is set to open in mid-June in the old veg market, featuring interactive darts, pool tables and shuffleboards as well as selling drinks.

The venue shared pictures of the interior during the renovations, with the dart lanes and painting work starting to take form.

The business said: "It’s all starting to come together now.

"Dart lanes are finally taking shape, the painting of woodwork is nearly complete, skylights are finished, neon signs and sports memorabilia are starting to arrive and the darts equipment and pool table should be in this week.

"Not long now."

Dart Side will have a small bar and a restaurant area that will seat up to 40 people while offering customers a range of games like darts, pool tables and shuffleboard.

The theme will follow a subtle American theme with framed jerseys dotted around the place while also using traditional British colours.

The building is just under 100 years old and has been home to many businesses over the years, including Angel Chef Chinese buffet and JAX Bar and Grill.

Mike Davis and Dan Charlton both run successful businesses in The Arches in Worcester and have joined forces for the new venture.

Mr Davis owns the Arch Rivals pub and Mr Charlton is the owner of Axe Junkies.
