A MAN from near Malvern has been fined for driving without due care and attention in Cornwall.

Daniel Devereux, of Hanley Swan, was found guilty by magistrates over a single charge of driving without due care and attention in a Volkswagen car in Cornwall on September 11, 2021.

The 20 year-old was prosecuted via the single justice procedure, which allows courts to take action against defendents while not needing them to be present in court.

Magistrates in Bodmin fined Devereux £120 in addition to a £34 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.

They also gave him seven penalty points on his licence.
