THE newest cafe to open in Malvern welcomed in its first customers this weekend.
Sunbeans, in Richmond Road, had a busy first day on April 30, welcoming in dozens of customers over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Malvern Link cafe is a slightly different cafe in that it also offers customers the ability to use one of the sunbeds on-site.
A post on the cafe's Facebook page thanked customers who came in over the weekend, saying: "We would like to thank everyone for their amazing support today on our opening day. We had a fantastic first day."
The business was set up by Claire Dockerill, Michelle Jenkins and Christina Evans, combining sunbeds with coffee and tea.
The three have all lived and worked in Malvern for a number of years, and saw a gap in the market considering what the other cafe's in the town were offering.
As well as serving a variety of coffees, teas, other hot drinks, slush drinks, milkshakes and cold drinks, Sunbeans also offers light snacks plus brownies and cakes from Baked To Share and The Sweet Greeks.
Sunbeans opens from 8.30am Monday to Saturday, with full opening hours available via the Sunbeans Facebook page.
