Roadworks on Suffolk Lane, in Abberley, are set to last for the next three days.
The announcement was made via the official Worcestershire County Council Highways & Travel Twitter account.
According to one.network, the works, which began at 7am on Wednesday, are for footway repairs, with pedestrians expected to use the alternative walkway provided.
The road is closed for 100 metres to Church Farm.
Letters have been sent to residents and businesses affected by the works, and advanced signage was put out two weeks before the works commenced.
An alternative route has been provided for drivers looking to access Suffolk Lane
- Head west towards Clows Top Rd/B4202 - 0.5 km
2. Turn right onto Clows Top Rd/B4202- 0.4 km
3. Turn right onto Suffolk Ln - 0.3 km
4. Continue onto The Beehive - 0.2 km
5. Continue onto Suffolk Ln - 0.3 km
