A WOMAN will appear in court for allegedly taking part in a gathering while the UK was in covid lockdown.
Katrina Franklin, of Marlborough Gardens, Malvern, has been charged with participating in a gathering of two or more people in private a dwelling indoors in tier 4 area.
The gathering is alleged to have taken place in Marlborough Gardens on March 28, 2021.
Restrictions had begun to be lifted as part of the 'roadmap out of lockdown' but people were still not allowed to gather indoors.
The following day, March 29, the rule of six was introduced where outdoor gatherings, including in private gardens, of either six people or two households, were allowed.
The 22-year-old is due to appear in Worcester Magistrates' Court again on Wednesday, January 26.
Franklin's hearing has already been adjourned twice in December and October last year.
