A ROAD in Malvern continues to be closed for gas work.
West Malvern Road has been closed by Cadent since before Christmas, and will be shut again from Brockhill Road and The Purlieu.
Work is expected to continue on this stretch until January 14.
We previously reported how West Malvern Road, one of the key routes over the hills towards Colwall and Ledbury, was being closed while gas mains are replaced.
In June last year, an underground gas leak saw the road closed while Cadent repaired the pipe.
Cadent Gas, which manages the local network, repaired the problem after a member of the public smelt gas.
First Bus has had to divert its 656 and 657 services between Malvern and Ledbury via Wyche Cutting, Belle Vue Terrace and Rose Bank Gardens.
