THE Farmers' Market returns to Malvern once again this weekend, giving residents the chance to sample some of the region's finest food and drink.

Taking place in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory, the market will offer shoppers the chance to browse fresh food and drink from around the area.

The market runs from 9am until 2pm on October 16 (Saturday).

Offerings include locally-produced goods including bread and pastries, cheese, vegan sausages, meat, jams and chutneys, chocolate and fish.

Organised by Boffy Arts and Events with support from Malvern Hills District Council, there will also be Case for Cooking, which has spices and rubs for meat or vegetables, Millbank Coffee and Masa Mexican, serving up Mexican street food.

Cllr Daniel Walton, portfolio holder for tourism and economic development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "The Farmers’ Market is always a popular event and a great opportunity to support our local businesses.

"We hope both visitors and residents enjoy the many products on offer."
