SPEED patrols and community enforcement will be stepped up across the Malvern Hills as speeding remains an issue.
We have previously reported how residents and councillors are concerned over speeding in the towns and villages across the district.
Now, West Mercia Police has promised to do more to tackle the problem.
Sgt Gordí Ó Haodha said: "In recent months, the safer neighbourhood team in Malvern and West Mercia Police Road Safety Team have been made aware of a number of roads in Malvern where speeding traffic is causing concern to local communities.
"To try and improve the safety of the roads, enforcement has been carried out by both teams as well as high-visibility patrols by our Roads Policing Team.
"Under our Local Policing Charter, police will continue to focus on speeding as it remains a priority identified by several parish councils."
In Leigh Sinton, there have been four incidents of cars crashing into walls in the village.
A community meeting in the Royal Oak pub saw around 20 residents meet to voice their concerns.
At the meeting, it was said that 10 people had been caught speeding in just one hour in the village.
