THE Malvern Autumn Show returns this weekend, with plenty of seasonal offerings on show.

With that in mind, here are five things you can see and do as one of the region's most popular events returns.

Giant Veg:

Expert growers are once again competing to grow the heaviest or longest veg in the popular CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship.

The event sees expert growers compete for awards from the Guinness Book of World Records and the National Vegetable Society.

At the 2019 event, the longest turnip prize and a new world record was set by Joe Atherton for his massive 13ft 4ins long turnip.

Amazing animals:

Another of the showpiece events at the Three Counties will be the World of Animals showcase and Top Dogs Arena, which will see prizes handed out to the best in class with rabbits, livestock and giant tortoises all making an appearance.

Special guests:

Special guests at this year's Autumn Show include big names like Gardeners' World presenter Adam Frost, celebrity cook Rosemary Shrager, Gardeners' Question Time's Reg Moule and many others.

Food and Drink:

The Cider Garden, courtesy of Westons Cider, provides a place to rest weary legs after a busy day walking round the show.

If gin is more to your taste, the Malvern Gin Show offers up some of the area's best independent gin producers.

For a bite to eat, the Outdoor Food and Drink Village puts on some of the finest food from Herefordshire and Worcestershire with something for everyone on offer.

Family Fun:

For all ages, the Family Green offers games and activities for children hosted by Lee Connelly, The Skinny Jean Gardener from Blue Peter.

For others, there is a climbing wall and "Discover Harvest" - a mini Harvest Festival created by children packed with imaginative home makes including creatures from fruit and vegetables, decorated plant pots and snaps of ‘Wildlife’ and ‘Life in Lockdown’.

Advance tickets to the Malvern Autumn Show cost £18 for general admission, children under 16 go free.
