OUR featured trader this week is one which needs little introduction to many people in Malvern, but whose fame for one of their products has spread beyond the town.
Angela and Jean-Michel Vilain have run Le Delice for 21 years, its “pâtisserie, charcuterie and fromage” tantalising the townsfolk’s tastebuds since 1999.
And they have had a fresh endorsement from the Worcester-based Francini Cafe de Colombia, which is proud to say it serves up “the best almond croissant in the Midlands”.
That’s great news for Le Delice – which makes them!
Angela is also proud of the accolade of the title of best-loved bakery, which Le Delice won.
She said: “It’s just great to be recommended for a small family business still trading and making everything on site in our bakery.”
And as the website says, next time you’re passing, “why not pop in and treat yourself to one of the towering Religieuses or a Royale, a tasty chocolate and hazelnut concoction. Look out for the giant millefeuilles too!”
Do you have a business that deserves its moment in the spotlight? Or do you know of one?
You can let us know by following the link below.
All we need are a few details and their efforts can be showcased in print in the Worcester News and online on our social media channels.
