MALVERN Special Families’ summer clubs have been as rewarding as ever this year, as these pictures of children and young people show.
The organisation runs clubs for children and young people aged five to 18 with complex needs and already this summer there have been trips to West Midland Safari Park for the children who go to the Regency High School summer club.
Gareth Jones, chief executive officer, said: “West Mercia Police also visited the club at Fort Royal Primary School, and children were able to climb all over all the emergency vehicles.
“Our Poolbrook club in Malvern, based in Bluebell Close, are going to visit the Cob House Country Park this week.
“Like most charities during the pandemic, MSF has had to curtail our face-to-face fundraising for the last 16 months and, like most charities, needs support to carry on its imortant work.
“If people who would normally attend our concerts, summer fetes or sponsored walks would like to go to our website – www.malvernspecialfamilies.org.uk – and donate it will help put more smiles on the children’s faces.”
