A NIGHT of music, poetry and silliness is coming to Malvern next week.

July 28 sees The Very Grimm Brothers will be playing at St Peter's Church, Cowleigh Bank, showcasing a series of lockdown songs and sketches.

The Very Grimm Brothers are Adrian Mealing, a Malvern Poetry Slam champion, who sings à cappella with Men In General, A Fistful of Spookies and The Spooky Men’s Chorale (Aus).

He is joined by John Denton who wears several musical hats including his John Denton’s Midnight Band hat.

Unlocked tells of their lockdown fears and woes, the relief of pilates, boot camp, raised beds and 'Castle Grimm’s secret' told through poems, songs, music and real acting.

In addition, Colin Baggs on the guitar is taking part, a talented solo acoustic guitarist from Worcester.

His original compositions range from folk through to flamenco, with elements of jazz and classical in the mix.

The Very Grimm Brothers are at St Peter's Church on July 28, between 7.30 and 9.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 from Eventbrite.
