THE Food Festival returns to Malvern next week for its 10th year.

The Great Malvern Food Festival, offering more than 40 different market stalls and street vendors, returns to the town on July 10.

The free two-day festival will run from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, July 10, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, July 11 in the new location of Priory Park with the iconic backdrop of Malvern Theatres and the Malvern Hills.

The new location will enable market stalls to be spread across a larger area, along with family activities and the cookery demonstration theatre which is being hosted in the open-air bandstand.

Visitors will be able to watch live cookery demonstrations, along with food and drink showcases to find out about top market traders.

Top local chefs will be on hand to offer tips and advice on how to create fabulous dishes at home using locally sourced produce from stallholders.

The festival has been organised by Boffy Events in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council.

It is supported by Windsor Court, the new retirement village and care home in Great Malvern.

Windsor Court provides unique and personalised assistance in luxurious surroundings, offering outstanding nursing, residential and dementia care.

Cllr Daniel Walton, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “It is great to see that Great Malvern Food Festival is returning to tickle the tastebuds once again.

"There is so much on offer for people of all ages, from high quality food and drink to cooking demonstrations from passionate chefs.

"We encourage everyone to pay a visit and support their local producers."
