MAIN roads across Herefordshire have been included in the council’s resurfacing plan, starting next month.
Public notices reveal the roads in part A of Balfour Beatty Living Places’ resurfacing programme, expected to get underway from July 22.
Roads will be closed during the works, which the council said was due to the likelihood of danger to the public while they are taking place.
The A44 at Bredenbury and Docklow, between Bromyard and Leominster for a total of seven days, the A417 at Ashperton and Hope-under-Dinmore for 12 days and the A4111 at Eardisley for seven days.
Surface dressing work will also take place. The A417 will be shut for four days at Stretton Grandison, the A4110 at Bush Bank and A4111 again at Eardisley for two days and two nights.
