TWO men have been fined for failing to provide information to the police in Droitwich.

A court heard Joseph Ludbrook failed to give information to police relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

The verdict was proved in absence at Worcester Magistrates Court on April 21 2021.

Ludbrook, 31, of Moxley Road, Darlaston, Wednesbury, was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66, costs of £210 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and his driving record was endorsed with six points. The offence took place on August 5 2019.

And in Droitwich on March 16 2020, Leonard John failed to give information to police relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

John, 75, of Ffrwd Vale, Neath, West Glamorgan, pleaded not guilty to the offence on December15 last year.

The verdict was proved in absence at Worcester Magistrates Court on April 26 20201.

John was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service and his driving record was endorsed with six points.

A woman has been fined for stealing toothbrush heads in Worcester.

On February 11 2021, Winnifred Galbraith stole toothbrush heads, worth £200 from Boots in Worcester.

Galbraith, 34, of Oxford Road, Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry, indicated a plea of guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on April 23 2021.

She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
