THERE have been no newly-recorded coronavirus deaths in Worcestershire's hospitals.

The latest NHS England figures today, April 28, show no new deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, meaning its figure remains at 805.

There have also been no new deaths in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, with its figure remaining at 63.

In total, there have been 868 Covid deaths in county hospitals and at least 1,349 in all settings.

The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The Health and Care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
