AFTER the recent good weather, with temperatures rising above 20C, the more familiar weather of this time of year is set to return over the Easter weekend.

Temperatures are dropping to those more likely seen this time of year, but there is some good news as it is set to stay dry, and we are set to miss the possible sleet and snow that has been forecast for other parts of the country. Today and Saturday are forecast for light cloud and a gentle breeze, while from Easter Sunday every day is expected to see sunny intervals with a gentle to moderate breeze.

Temperatures will reach a high of 12C today, 11C on Saturday and 12C on Easter Sunday. But Easter Monday will see a drop to 7C, staying around that for the rest of the week.

The chance of rain is around two per cent over the next few days, before it jumps to 14 per cent on Monday. It will also be noticeably colder on nights than recent days, at around 2C to 3C before, on Monday, dropping to a -1C nightly temperature. For hayfever suffers it should be noted the pollen count is forecast to be medium throughout the Easter weekend.
